Welcome to my blog! A short introduction :)

Dear reader,

First of all: Welcome to my blog! I'm delighted that you showed an interest in reading about me and my life!

I started this blog because I think it's the perfect medium for me to share about my pinup lifestyle. My plan is to post things like vintage reproduction clothing reviews, pinup style tutorials,  trips and travels, and all about our moving to Ireland and other exciting things in my life.

I want to use this first post to introduce myself :)

I am Leyla Jansen, a 23 year old vintage style lover from Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. I live together with my gorgeous boyfriend Jeroen, and our two cute gerbils, Finn and Jake.

I am currently studying Art&Technology in Enschede, and I want to specialise in Animation (think cartoons, disney movies, tv series etc). I love watching animated movies and series. I currently follow Adventure Time and Steven Universe. 

My favourite animated movies are Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (1 and 2), The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Wreck it Ralph, Snow White, and Song of the Sea (beautiful 2D animation bij the Irish studio Cartoon Saloon, I highly recommend watching!).

I am also a sucker for series (The Walking dead and Game of Thrones) and Wes Anderson movies. 
Oh, and I love Harry Potter too (I am a proud Hufflepuff).

- red lipstick
- drawing
- making my own dresses/ skirts (I just started doing that)
- hunt for vintage / old stuff that I probably don't need
- dressing up 
- modelling for pinup photoshoots
- travelling
- getting tattooed
- bodypositivity
- going to concerts/festivals
- daydreaming about unicorns, rainbows, and glitter

- rude/mean people

-  people who talk shit about others

- bodyshaming

- misogyny

- people being glued to their phones in social situations
